The two points of access to the consultation

Consultation of legal professionals

The consultation is open

You work with lawyers, opposite them or alongside them, so the way they work with digital tools affects your own profession. This entrance, on the civil society side, gathers your needs on every subject of the consultation, from the exchange of documents to shared tools, from artificial intelligence to data storage, from online procedures to training. Each message may name something you lack, propose a concrete action or point to a practice that already works and deserves to be kept.

Examples

  • Exchanging documents and submissions with a firm on a platform that works without sticking points.
  • Holding a remote hearing or meeting with a lawyer while the documents exchanged stay protected.
  • Knowing whether the lawyer opposite you uses an artificial intelligence tool on the case.
  • Knowing where the data of a member of the public entrusted to a shared tool are stored, who can access them.

Choose the subject closest to your message, which the consultation team will read with those about the same thing.

Describe your need without writing any name, address or case number, whether yours or a relative’s. This message helps prepare the consultation’s proposals; it does not replace a lawyer’s advice on your own situation.

One need per message, 8,000 characters at most. A situation from your practice helps the team understand it: an exchange of documents with a firm, a remote hearing, a shared tool, a request from a member of the public.

It lets contributions be read area by area. It never appears with your message.

So that the consultation team can reply to you.

Publishing your contribution

I agree that my contribution may be published on this site after review, with or without my name as chosen below, under the Open Licence 2.0: anyone may reuse it freely, including for commercial purposes, provided they cite its source. I may ask for its removal from the site at any time. Removal does not recall copies already reused.

Personal data

The publisher of the site keeps your message, together with the information you choose to provide, in order to prepare the report of the consultation, on the basis of your consent. Open-weight artificial intelligence models, which the consultation runs on its servers in France, analyse it to help the team read it; a member of the team takes every decision. Your email address, if you give it, is used only to reply to you.

You may request access to your message, its rectification or its erasure by writing to propositions@souverainete-avocats.fr. Details are given on the Personal data page.

After sending, a personal link shows you your contribution’s progress: received, read, under review, retained, amended or set aside with a reason, merged, in the report.

One-minute questions

One choice per question, one minute in all. Every question is optional.

Do the digital tools you share with lawyers save you time or cost you time?
Do the people you serve ask for more or fewer remote exchanges than five years ago?
Do you use artificial intelligence in your profession?
Where are your organisation’s documents stored today?
Could your organisation change supplier for its main tools without major difficulty?
Would a showcase of young French and European publishers, open to lawyers as to the other legal professions, be useful to you?
Have you ever given up a digital tool for fear for the secrecy or confidentiality of case files?
Who should act first on the modernisation and digital sovereignty of the legal professions?
